
With a sigh, Elizabeth looked over the sheet of paper that was covered in crossed out lettering and other edits. This had been a bad idea from the beginning. With more force than was strictly necessary, she crumpled the failure into a ball and tossed it at the wall. She narrowly avoided hitting John in the head as he walked in from the hallway, and she glared at him for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. When he politely raised his eyebrows, she shook her head. "Don't ask."
