This series began as a "What If?" response to the third season episode The Return Part 1, which ends in a cliff-hanger. As a result, this series diverges wildly from canon as of the airing of The Return Part 2 (SGA 03x11). It was supposed to end there, but I agreed to write a sequel, and things sort of exploded (I know, I know, I should be used to it at this point). As it has developed, the series has fallen neatly into two principle arcs - a gen arc & a het arc featuring Elizabeth Weir. I do not expect it to continue (in the sense that I sense at least one if not a few arcs will be added to the grand tally before the end). However, for the moment the two exist in the same universe but only marginally intersect. As we get further down the timeline more intersection will occur, at which point I may revise my listing approach.
