Academics = Fannish Roadblock

What this means in lay terms is that due to a heavy course load, this site will be suffering blackout periods (it won't be down, but it *will* be static during the blackouts) between September & mid-December, and again between mid-January & June. I apologize for this, and ask for your patience.

During the Black-Out periods above, all fiction updates will be posted to My LiveJournal.

So that we have no misunderstandings leading to tearful and badly spell-checked EMails:
I don't list a spoiler warning for every fic on this site; it's a waste of both my time and yours. Please check the list below for my "accepted general knowledge" cut-offs. For those fics which contain canon mentioned after the cut-off, I use the "Last Episode Referenced" method of identification. This means that all information contained in episodes up to and including the episode listed as the "spoiler" may be speckled throughout the fic.

Recent Updates

Life has been, well, insane over the last year. Earth and Air, I can't believe it's been a year since I updated. I'm hoping to get everything over here caught up before I go on Field School in May, or at least that I'll get the links updated and fic-listing adjusted to reflect the last year's worth of writings. Nothing spectacular - I think my word count has been something like 50,000 - but not too shabby, either. In terms of projected completion dates, Bound (the Torchwood series), Memoirs, and Ripples will all hopefully be completed by September. For certain, Bound and Memoirs will be tied off. Ripples is a bit sketchier. Bridges will still be in-progress, partially because it's still an expanding universe (Kate Heightmeyer & Miko Kusanagi's lives have grown exponentially more complex since they first appeared in Glimpses of the Edge). Apologies to everyone who's been following my work, I never intended for these universes to languish quite as long as they have.

So life got a little hectic there. I have updated the Bridges Chrono Page with all new pieces in that universe (I think it was 5 or 6 total). Three new un-related fics have gone up in the SGA Section

Reccing Myself: My Personal Favourites

Bound (Torchwood)

The accidental marriage series, following Gwen & Owen through close to 20 years of something surprisingly similar to Marital Bliss. The first two stories in the trilogy ("Bound & Sealed" and "Slices of Monogamy") are complete, and the final instalment is currently sitting at 5 of 7 parts complete. "Bits of Bliss" should be wrapped off by the end of the summer, thus closing the story arc.

Bridges (Stargate Atlantis)

The story arcs are now differentiated on the chrono page.
There are currently 3 arcs: Gen, Weir, and the Secondary Romance Collection. None are complete.
The pieces that went up during 14 Valentines 2007 are now listed in the chronology. There were 4. The flash-fic entries written in March are finally listed, as are the first three parts of Gone, but not Forgotten (Gen Arc). The fourth part of G,bnF is a crossover with NCIS, and currently available over on my LiveJournal.

Author's Note: This has officially become the unofficial crossover branch of my universes. Confirmed crossovers include NCIS (already written), Supernatural (under development, featuring Kate Heightmeyer), suggestions welcome ^_^

Memoirs (Stargate Atlantis)

The Chronology is continually updated. The (tentatively) final piece planned for this universe is in-progress, and can be found on my livejournal until it is completed. Meet the Novaks. 2 (of 4) parts have been posted. A Day in the Life of (a Very Troubled) John Sheppard is complete.

Ripples (Stargate Atlantis)

Progeny (1/?), exploring Sarah McKay's future, is currently a WIP on my livejournal. It's a part of the larger Act 4. Sir! Cadman, Robert, Sir! is complete. Five more pieces are planned for this universe at the present time. The Newcomer's List is complete. The Missing Scenes are slowly surfacing. The Reference Page will be under revision until Act 4 is complete.
